Water Mitigation in Grand Prairie, TX: Drying Out a Water Loss

When water gets into a home, the first 24 to 48 hours matter most. Our crew responded to a water loss in Grand Prairie, TX this week. Here is how we dried it out and stopped the damage from spreading.

Drying equipment set up right away

Commercial air movers and a dehumidifier went in first to pull moisture out of the air, floors and walls.

Removing what can not be saved

Wet flooring came up down to the slab, and wet baseboards and the bottom of the drywall were cut out so the wall cavities could dry. Leaving wet materials in place is how mold starts.

Measuring, not guessing

We take moisture readings throughout the job and keep the equipment running until the materials are back to dry levels. Every reading is documented with photos for your insurance claim.
