Drone view of a custom pergola being built over a patio in Waxahachie, TX
Lotus does more than roofs. This week our crew is building a custom pergola over a backyard patio in Waxahachie, TX, attached to the home and framed to match the roofline. Here is the build so far.
Lumber was delivered and staged so the crew could work efficiently without tearing up the yard.
The crew set the support posts and beams first. This is the structure that carries the whole pergola, so it has to be plumb, level and solidly attached.
Next the rafters went up across the beams, giving the pergola its shape and the shade pattern over the patio.
A drone view shows how the pergola ties into the house and covers the patio.
We build pergolas, patio covers and other outdoor structures, and we can handle the roofing too, all with one crew. Call (214) 499-1898 or request a free estimate.
