Today our crew started a roof replacement on a large, complex roof in Waxahachie, TX, with multiple hips, valleys and roof lines. Here is how day one went.
Protecting the yard and landscaping
Before a single shingle came off, the crew covered the lawn and the beds along the house with tarps to catch debris and nails.
Tear-off
The crew stripped the old roof down to the decking, working section by section across the roof.
Clean decking, ready for the new roof
With the old roof off, the whole roof is down to clean decking and ready for underlayment and new shingles.
Next up
Underlayment, leak barrier in the valleys, and new shingles. We will share the finished photos once the job is complete.
