Our crew replaced this Rockwall, TX roof in a single day. Here is every stage, start to finish: protecting the property, tearing off to the original plank deck, repairing the decking, leak barrier and synthetic underlayment, new pipe boot flashing, shingles, and a new ridge cap.
Before a single shingle came off, tarps went down around the house and over the landscaping to catch nails, old shingles and debris.
The old roof came off down to the original plank deck. We checked the boards and repaired the ones that needed it, so the new roof goes on a solid base.
Leak barrier went down along the eaves, then synthetic underlayment over the rest of the deck.
Every plumbing vent got new pipe boot flashing sealed into the underlayment.
Shingles went on course by course across each slope.
New ridge cap along the peak, and a finished roof by the end of the day.
