10+ hail hits in a single 10×10 test square. This Argyle roof told the whole story.
On Saturday our crew walked a home in Argyle, TX for a full hail damage inspection. We chalked a 10×10 test square on the slope, circled every hit, then checked the vent caps, gutters, drip edge, siding and A/C condenser for the same storm. Here is what we found, photo by photo.
Roof Overview & Test Square
A test square is how adjusters and roofers count damage the same way: a 10×10 area on each slope, every hit circled. This one came in at 10+ hits.

Hail Hits on the Shingles
Each chalk circle marks a bruise where hail knocked granules loose. Left alone, those spots age faster and can let water in.

Vents, Gutters & Drip Edge
Soft metal shows hail first. Dents on vent caps, gutters and drip edge back up what the shingles show.

Siding & A/C Unit
We check the whole exterior, not just the roof, so the report covers every item the storm touched.
