Hail Damage Roof Inspection in Fort Worth, TX: Every Hit Marked in Chalk

Every chalk circle on this Fort Worth roof is a hail hit. Our inspector walked the roof slope by slope, measured the pitch, circled each impact on the shingles and checked the vents and gutters, so the homeowner has a clear photo record of the roof’s condition.

The roof, slope by slope

We start with wide shots from the ridge so every slope and roof vent is on record before we work in close.

Measuring the roof

A pitch gauge on the slope tells us how steep the roof is, which goes into the inspection report and any estimate.

Hail hits marked in chalk

Each hail hit we find is circled in chalk and photographed close up, so it is easy to see on the photos and easy to show an insurance adjuster.

Gutters and the roof edge

Hail does not stop at the shingles. We also check the gutters, roof edge and metal for dents and damage.

Final walk of the roof

Before we leave, we walk the ridge one more time to make sure nothing was missed. The homeowner gets the full photo set.
